Yesterday was a long day invested cleaning out Matt’s Grandmother’s home so we can lastly record it on the market place on behalf of her estate. The approach has taken a great deal longer than anticipated, it’s a two hour drive round journey each and every time we visit and there was far more to be completed than anticipated but finally there’s a light at the finish of the tunnel now that the bathroom makeover is finally total!
When tastefully remodeled, bathrooms and kitchens promote homes more quickly than outdated spaces so we took the additional months to do that. I didn’t go with a dramatic color or daring wallpaper since this remodel is solely for resale and instead made options that had been attractive to a massive market place.
I wrapped up the bathroom makeover yesterday by painting the walls and hanging the new mirror. Right after the shower remodel, the vanity appeared dingy and dated by comparison so we determined to substitute it, and along with it the flooring, mirror, lighting, and baseboards.
Here it is ahead of the remodel with a cultured marble top and dated lighting, the top of the vanity had a pinkish hue to it and just did not seem appropriate so we replaced it.

I wrote about the prepare for the vanity in early March, we had ordered this gray vanity from Lowe’s for the bathroom with a projected delivery of 3 weeks but that in no way took place.
March went by, then April, then Could arrived and the vanity still hadn’t shipped. We have been extremely frustrated and began calling the store each other day monitoring its arrival. It ultimately arrived the third week of May possibly nearly two months late but the day our contractor went to choose it up we have been informed a Lowe’s worker had accidentally backed a forklift into it. *Ahem*.
We weren’t inclined to wait for a replacement so we canceled the purchase and I went in search of a new vanity that could be shipped instantly. I located this white vanity on Wayfair, it came with a marble prime and faucet and shipped inside 5 days and following all that agony I was offered.
 
In man or woman it is a beauty! I’m usually nervous ordering furnishings or cabinets online but this a single is actually great, the paint job is flawless and the marble top is stunning, I really like the raised molding detail on the sides and drawers. At 48” wide, it fits the bathroom space properly and I favor the white finish against the gray floor so this is a happier ending.
I adore the shapely chrome faucet and the carrara marble leading the pull out soft near drawers give added storage for toiletries.
 
 
 
We acquired rid of the outdated flooring and just like in the kitchen, installed budget friendly  modern day vinyl plank product. These are Trafficmaster Allure in Grey Maple put in in an offset pattern like hardwood.
