Nicely HELLO! Today’s venture is fitting simply because it employs products from the two merchants I blogged about this week. I Adore how this turned out! It is quite adorable, not gonna lie.

I got this notion soon after I discovered all the cute dollar pails at Target I showed you right here. This venture is nothing at all new – I’ve noticed it completed a few instances. But I have to be sincere, I consider this 1 is the prettiest I’ve observed. )

I started with this lazy Susan I received at IKEA years in the past:

IKEA lazy Susan

It utilised to sit in the middle of our kitchen table. I’ve given that moved it up to the craft room in the loft and we’ve just had random containers on it for supplies. I’ve been on the lookout for months for anything cute to place every little thing in and haven’t located something I liked…until these cute pails jumped in my cart!

This was critically the best project ever. I gave it a quite light sanding (which actually wasn’t even essential – a good cleaning would have done just fine) and then spray painted the tray. Spray paint season is back infant!! Whoot! One particular of the ideal components of warmer climate!

Then I utilized a drill bit and drilled a hole into the bottom of each pail:

The metal is super thin so no unique metal bit was required.

Then I spaced them out and screwed them into the tray:

So enjoyable, right? SO Simple.

I filled it up with random supplies – markers, pencils, paint pens, brushes, scissors and craft scissors:

I did my ideal to space them all out evenly – I did not measure something:

That area in the middle was calling out for one thing entertaining so I grabbed a single of the aqua jars from my dollar spot stash and filled it with daffodils from the kitchen:

I mean, come on. Cuteness!! It helps make me satisfied just seeking at it!

A couple of of you have asked about the butcher block from the “old” island. I brought it up right here on the DIY craft table. I Adore the wood in this space!:

wood top on craft table I shared my prepare for this room earlier this yr – I’m hoping to give it a whole new appear with built ins and far more colour. I’m obtaining quotes next week on the flooring to get an notion when we can move forward in right here. The other half of this room is our “hallway” upstairs (even although there are no walls) and the carpet above there is just so gross. We’re almost eleven years in and it is time to substitute it.

The butcher block will stay in the new style – I’m retaining it as a craft table, just in a different way than this one. 🙂

This tiny caddy is so entertaining and cute – and the fact that it turns is rather fantastic as well. Practical and it seems to be excellent, two of my favorites!:

DIY easy craft table I might or could not have taken three journeys to Target to grab far more pails. I got three at initial, then figured out I wanted to do this task and went back for two a lot more, then made the decision I am OCD and required 6 – 3 sets of two matching pails. So yeah…without the gas fees this cutie only cost me 6 bucks. If you have an IKEA nearby the lazy Susan is only \$eight. 🙂

I was contemplating, if you do not have a tray like this a simple piece of wood distressed, stained or painted would be cute with the pails screwed in. Really the possibilities are limitless to do one thing cute with them.

Have a excellent Thursday, it’s one particular of my favored days of the week!
