I have a buddy who keeps his two rugs in the basement, simply because he believes that the apartment is dirty more rapidly if there is carpet on the floor. 
(I adore him!) He brings the carpets from the basement, only when he has guests. :))
It is really so. An apartment with carpet is a bit more challenging to clean than an apartment without carpet. But the carpet is just really worth! Why? Simply because he generates a cosy ambience at property. Due to the fact he is a nice component of the Interior. Due to the fact it appears cool!
