Content New Year! Can you believe that it’s already 2015?! I don’t forget the Y2K days when the year 2020 seemed like ages and ages away, but now we’re only 5 years away from the unimaginable milestone. Huge-scale speculations aside, I have a lot to be thankful for personally from this past year. My first trip to the west coast, my very first time in Atlanta and one more first in Des Moines. There was an additional galavant by means of NYC with Team BHG (and Brooklyn, also!), plus a gorgeous trip to our loved ones’s preferred summer spot in South Carolina.
One more biggie from this year gone by? Having the opportunity to function with some AMAZING fellow creatives. I took my very first company class, launched a limited edition collection of party and office goodies with style extraordinaire Khristian A. Howell, dove head initial into Profession Contessa and partnered up with some amazing photographers to share my styling obsession with the globe. The crowning collaboration of 2014? Getting Chelsea Laine Francis photograph my newly blonde headshots ahead of she and her hubby hit the road for Texas and a new creative life in Austin. (safe travels my friends!!)
I have a tendency to make and then break my resolutions about three months into each and every new year, but this time I’ve got much more than just my personal joy motivating me. Carrie Waller Inventive was the quite Biggest issue to launch in 2014, and I intend to make 2015 the greatest year but by resolving to creatively collaborate with every single breath I take. So, to my fellow makers, photographers, bloggers, writers, and thinkers out there—Let’s get together and make this year ahead a single to in no way ever neglect! My little corner of the World wide web is just that—little. But I intend to team up, construct up and dream up some of my greatest endeavors but.
