This week, I’m feeling the need to generate. Possibly it’s the truth that I’m completed with Christmas shopping and have been elbow-deep in golden wrapping paper cuttings, or maybe it was the weekend baking (I know, shocking. I baked one thing other than a hot mess. A lot more on that later though).
Polish kolaches. So quite, very excellent.
I woke up this morning feeling like I wanted to shrug off my usual uniform of sweaters and function jeans and put on a celebration dress. Wear red lipstick. Don some gay apparel, just like the song demands (between ordering me to deck the halls and guests refusing to leave till they get figgy pudding – whatever the hell that is – Christmas songs can be somewhat bossy, don’t you think?).
I guess what I’m saying is I’m feeling the need for some inspiration. With only ten days until Christmas, it will be good to get lost in the glow for a couple of days (and eat about a dozen varieties of cookie). So if you’ve got some vacation photographs to share, I’d enjoy to see ‘em. I’ll have a entertaining Christmas project to share with you ahead of week’s end too. Content Monday, folks!
