Hello my friends! We had an additional school delay today (for cold temps) so I’m behind on this Monday! I’m dragging anyway simply because I worked my butt off on the kitchen island yesterday. I go into beast mode at occasions and yesterday was one of them. My main driving force in getting so considerably carried out was so that I could commence to get items a minor more organized in the kitchen.

But because they are only twelve inches deep I have to maintain the bigger platters in this kitchen cabinet. I tell you what – that little shelf I produced has helped SO much! It is so great to effortlessly slide them in and out…when there’s not 50 factors in front of it anyway, like recently.
I’ve been waiting for this day for so extended – when I initial dreamed of a window seat I knew I’d gain some excellent storage from it. I was capable to move about half of what was in this cabinet to that area and then move some items that have been piled up in other cabinets into this one:
I am planning on developing an additional shelf just like the a single on the left for the products I placed in there. I’ve learned that cabinets pretty considerably are a deep abyss…drawers are so significantly less difficult for storage! Now I can match taller objects in that cabinet which is fantastic. I prepare to develop pull out drawers in this cabinet but it’s already so much nicer to not battle with that shelf. I’m doing the same in the other one in the island too.
