It figures. As soon as I come back from beautiful, sunny weather in San Francisco:
… Atlanta has an identity crisis and freezes, rains, and warms all inside the very same week. To be honest, I hear other elements of the country are going from 65 to 30 degrees (and back again) also, so I suppose there’s not as well considerably to complain about, except that it type of put a snag in all of the tree-chopping exciting that began on Monday.
Issues have gone fairly smoothly, but the rain is interrupting factors a tiny. A wet yard means that the heavy tools required to get in and out might get stuck, so the tree crew is choosing to wait factors out a small before hauling the thick trunks away and grinding out each stump. So, in the meantime, each of the yards around my house looks like a giant game of Lincoln Logs:
Yeah. It most likely goes with no saying, but if I wasn’t previously the embarrassment of the neighborhood, I’m rather certain this isn’t performing me any favors.
Upside? The whole community (including my vehicle) smells like fresh pine.
I have to consider a fast trip to Alabama this week, so I’m also willing to bet that it’s going to dry out just adequate whilst I’m gone for the crew to slip in and out of my yard like a ghost (because isn’t that how factors often go when you want to consider photos of issues?). Which as of correct now, I can’t determine is a very good issue (the place I get to avoid a day of distracting machinery noises and stump grinding whilst I do the ol’ day task) or a bad factor (in which I miss out on seeing all of the hefty products in action).
1 thing is for confident correct now though: Charlie isn’t really positive what to make of things but. Both because there are giant freaking logs taking up her back yard, and the truth that rain is coming down straight out of the sky with no a heavy pine canopy to preserve her from receiving soaked. Poor pup.
Hopefully by Friday, I’ll have another update so you can see how various things search. It’s truthfully variety of freaky to see a excellent large hole in the sky in which branches utilised to be!
