I really love these slow weekend mornings when you don’t have to go anywhere and have plenty of time to enjoy morning coffee and time together with family. Last night and a night after that have been really windy here where I live and many households are now without electricity. So it can be considered a little luxury to wake up and have electricity to make breakfast and fresh coffee.
Weekend mornings are perfect time to catch up some reading which I haven’t had time for during busy weeks. This time it was a long-awaited The Kinfolk Home book. Nowadays, when we spend so much time online and often read something from iPad or phone it is a real pleasure to open a book, flip pages and smell that special smell only new books have. I spent some really inspiring moments with this book and a cup of coffee while the rain was pouring outside… Perfect start for a good day!
