architecture modern residenceLocated in a lushly planted residential region of Singapore and surrounded by mature trees, this green modern day residence aims to capture the spirit of its surroundings. The Home at Trevose Area was completed by A D Lab.

&#8220This ambition to lengthen the website, its sense of gentle motion and tranquility, posed a challenge, provided the comprehensive programmatic specifications of the owners,&#8221 explained the architects. 

The green residence had to be adapted to the needs of the multi-generational loved ones. This was achieved by developing a comparatively compact constructing all around a courtyard and swimming pool. The highlight of the design is a pathway that winds around the external facade, encircling the property in grass.
design modern residence&#8220Aside from gently merging the developing into the internet site, this prolonged, winding veranda also serves as extensions of the personal rooms,&#8221 the architects extra. The veranda continues all the way to the rooftop lawn.

The home has three levels, each hosting each personal and social places. Large windows and sliding doors on every floor ensure normal ventilation and lighting, and allow accessibility to the grassy regions from each degree. [Photography by Masano Kawana]
