I’ve recently been dying to quickly forward into summertime—to skip all of this chilly climate, snow and ice and to begin enjoying sundresses and seashore activities once again. But since that’s not precisely attainable, I’ll settle for rewinding to final season. Today, I wished to step back for a adjust from DIY tasks to share an additional specific portrait session from final August.
My fellow Profession Contessa directors, Lauren McGoodwin and Mallory Benedict, and I had met up on this day with photographer Joanne Pio in Venice Seaside, California, and we had a dreamy afternoon of posing in front of some of the most gorgeous neighborhoods and flowering alleyways that I had ever observed. Below are just a few of my preferred shots of my beautiful co-directors (with a handful of of me thrown in for posterity).
So, why do I describe this session as “extra unique”? Properly, this brings me an announcement…I am sad to say that I am moving on from the Career Contessa household. It is exceptionally sad for me to depart a team and brand that I have worked my butt off for these previous two many years, but I’m stretched to the maximum.
I feel like each time I get an e mail from a buddy or fellow inventive, I get the question, “When do you rest?!” and the solution up until now has been, “I don’t…” I’m carrying out every thing, but absolutely nothing fairly as effectively as I should, so I’m stepping back from CC and program to refocus my power back on becoming creative and back on DGD so that I can offer you you the very best kind of beneficial content material proper here.
I’ll be phasing out my editorial course with Occupation Contessa in April, but these gorgeous images and the recollections I developed with these two extraordinary, effective, TALENTED women will definitely final a lifetime. Cheesy, I know, but sometimes daily life deserves a small cheese.
A large, giant “Thank you!” to Joanne for these sweet recollections and to Lauren and Mallory for welcoming me into the CC team with open arms from the extremely starting. What a legacy we have created…
