For the groom who just can’t imagine wearing something mundane + traditional on his wedding day, our feature today will show him just how easy it can be to pull off a fun, eclectic look that feels so much more ‘him’, that his bride will love, too!
Planned + designed by Karly of Amber Events, who wanted to help grooms everywhere who question what to wear on their big day and want to help style their groomsmen as well, this shoot showcases a few different style options that really stand out from the crowd in all the best ways. Karly reminds grooms that they can always choose a formal suit, but if they decide to show off their hipster style instead, they’re guaranteed to still make heads turn.
Thanks to Scott Clark for the rad images below!
Karly says, For this shoot we were all about textures, fun electric colors, patterns, neckerchiefs, suspenders and bowties. The ties, pocket squares and goodies were from Gold Coast Goods. The great thing about these ties is that they work with either dressing down a high end tux or make the hipster outfit complete! With her designs you really can mix pattern bowties on floral print shirts and it still looks fabulous. Or you can throw a striped bowtie with some suspenders and you’re looking sharp. We mixed the wardrobe with pants from The Black Tux and found some really awesome blazers from Zara.
Cocktail Concierge mixed up some whisky cocktails for the guys to enjoy while getting ready!
How awesome is that velvet suit (and those loafers!) from The Black Tux?!
We are totally digging these looks! What about you? Which look was your fave? We hope this dapper editorial helps grooms + groomsmen everywhere think outside of the norm when it comes to their wedding day attire!
Thanks a million to the team below for sharing!
