We’re so excited to be sharing this London-based styled shoot from Julie Michaelsen Photography with you all today! Led by planners Glimmer & Threads, the team worked from a color + texture scheme of marble, matte gold, and navy blue with velvet accents. We’re totally taken with Jay Archer Floral Design’s gorgeous overflowing flowers — they’re dark, romantic and graphic. Judy Broad Calligraphy‘s paper pieces add a touch of whimsy and the historic ICA provides the most elegant of backdrops for a classic-sophisticate wedding. We know you’re going to love this one too!
from the planner: With the combination of a classic setting and the natural light coming in through the windows, we tied in combinations of wintery flowers and modern pieces of gold, marble and acrylic. Jay Archer’s gorgeous overflowing flowers were dark, but so stylish. The mantle is a huge focal point of the room and would make a great backdrop for a wedding ceremony or reception.
Mixing in the marble theme throughout; from the cake by Little Bear Cakery to the amazing paper items from Judy Broad, it was a subtle hint that added a nice texture to the navy and gold. The clear table from Duchess & Butler is a perfect touch for a modern and yet flower-filled event. Not too modern, but with touches of overflowing flowers, the table looked stunning with the mix of candles and greenery.
