Hello my close friends! I’m beginning to freak out a small bit…Christmas is next week proper?? I’ve been ignoring this fact for awhile now. The funny issue is that I’m nevertheless decorating. It will only stay out for a couple of weeks but I’m genuinely enjoying it so I continue to fluff. 🙂

I’ve tackled some little projects in our bedroom over the previous few days and added some Christmas touches in the area. I’m particularly excited about the tree! I got this one years back at Lowe’s following the holidays for \$12. It is super skinny and an simple 1 to store.

For the previous couple of years I’ve only turned on the lights (it came with them) and left it at that. I’ve wanted to decorate it a lot more but just in no way get to it. This year I took a handful of minutes and did anything a small diverse. I wrapped some jute “ribbon” around the tree that I’ve had for awhile, then I picked out some of my favourite images from over the year and printed them out.

I just stuck them inside the tree:

They are pictures of everyday stuff and from the great trips we took this year (that one to the appropriate is us on one particular of our four trips down Splash Mountain a handful of weeks ago. My husband’s face is Great.)

I edited them so they were in a sepia tone:

I meant to print them out way smaller sized but it was a content accident – I really like how the bigger pics appear. Our son and his nephew prime the tree:

My heart is full! I am a lucky fortunate girl.

It is such a fantastic way to look back at our blessings this year. The Bub and my husband loved it:

I adore possessing it our room but subsequent year we could move it down to the family area. It would be excellent down there and may really finish up down there however this year. 🙂

My tree skirt is just further fabric left over from my DIY headboard in this room. I just fluffed it up about the tree, no hemming:

Our bedroom is a single of my favorites in our residence and it’s specially warm and cozy this time of year. I took some a lot more pics to share with you right now – like the obligatory bokeh pic:

I’m a blogger. It’s mandatory.

I took most of these at evening due to the fact I especially adore it then:

I kept most of the products on the mantel and just added some greenery and lights:

The art was painted by me – I was trying to generate something for the loved ones room weeks ago and this turned out also dark. It is still a little dark for me but it fills this space for now. 🙂 The frame is just low-cost lattice wood.

This area is nonetheless quite much in amongst – these walls are the original color I place up years ago, Tornado Watch (from Lowe’s). I have the new paint but this space is a doozy so I’ve been putting it off for a year months:

I want to do a treatment to that fireplace wall – I’ve been trying to figure out what I want to do and I finally have a plan!

The new wall color is lighter and will look beautiful – I just want to make certain to hold a cozy feel in right here:&#160

grays in bedroom I have plans for that long bench too – it’s the perfect size and super comfy so I plan to redo it so it functions in the area a tiny greater.

I Love this space even though, even half way “there”:
