Inspired by Shakespeare’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream, the team behind today’s lovely editorial gave a modern spin to the whimsical, ornate essence of this beloved theater piece. Photographer, Leighanne Herr, collaborated with the event designers at Dolce Designs to bring a truly dreamy setting to life and we are just loving the light + airy vibe they’ve created.
Leighanne shares, We designed a moon for the backdrop as it is quite symbolic in A Midsummer Night’s Dream and Kelly Lee Designs created a gorgeous paper aisle runner with an excerpt from the play. Flora&Eventi did an amazing job with the table scape, creating a large tree that spilled over the table as if you were enjoying a meal amidst the forest.
We’re dying over this amazing backdrop!!
The juxtaposition of this table setting shows the team’s vision and creativity to a T. We love the pairing of modern ghost chairs with the overgrown, organic centerpiece – and the additions of woodland-inspired moss and romantic, ornate place settings really take the look to next-level good!
The ethereal cakes were the handiwork of Dolce Designs. So gorgeous!
And we love how this editorial provides not only design inspiration, but fashion inspiration, too! This closing look – with a dress from A & Bé Bridal Shop + cape by Minaree Finery – is too dreamy for words!
Thanks a million to the talented team below for sharing their work today!
