Desert Chic Mexico Wedding

We LOVE today’s stylish destination wedding for a million and a half reasons, but the tops just might be this: the wedding location was a total surprise to Hayley + Duke’s guests until right before the wedding when they all got picked up by shuttles at the hotel + were transported to Flora Farms in Baja California Sur, Mexico. Maria Boehme worked with H + D to ensure the day’s design was totally on point, but that it didn’t distract from the already-gorgeous organic farm surroundings. And florist, Piña Hernandez, did a phenomenal job with a custom bougainvillea installation over the ceremony location, as well as all the beautiful table decor you’re about to see. We love how rich, deep colors paired with desert-y succulents and opulent gold to make for such a dynamic wedding setting!

Big thanks to Steve Cowell for the super lovely captures below!

Are you love-love-loving this venue? Us, too! And we learned that Flora Farms is an organic farm, growing all of their own produce and proteins (goats, pigs and chickens). They cook and cater everything onsite and couples hosting their wedding there won’t receive their dinner menu until a couple weeks before the wedding in order to preserve them serving only what is currently grown and in season. So cool, right?!
