A single of my preferred annual property tours, in my favorite city, is happening tomorrow in Newburyport, MA. The Holiday House Tour positive aspects the Custom Residence Maritime Museum and attributes some wonderful old and new houses in the historic city of Newburyport and surrounding towns.  I’ve been going since I lived there several years ago, though regrettably I am unable to make it this year with all the vacation company.  Nevertheless, I just realized that I apparently never ever did a weblog post soon after final year’s tour so I wanted to share some of the highlights here so you can see the high quality of spaces you will see if you go tomorrow.

I loved this cute little detail of the little dog on the side table.&nbsp

&nbsp
This home was the highlight of the tour. A lately renovated Italianate Victorian.
The open notion kitchen and loved ones area is spectacular.

The entire colour palette of whites and grays lended itself to a cool, icy holiday decorating scheme.&nbsp

A beautiful downstairs lav that pays homage to the Victorian architecture of the property.

Stunning stairs and I enjoy the greens on the newel post.

Quite romantic mantel decorations in front of an antique mirror.

All the specifics had been stunning.&nbsp

I want a transom window just so I can do this…

Another standout home was this Federal style with an ornate entrance.

Lovely Adams style fireplaces abound in this home.

A cute “Grinch” themed vacation table.

This home wasn’t on the tour, but I really like the packages they wrap their portico columns with every single year.&nbsp

&nbspThis traditional Colonial property sits on a corner lot and has a massive further on the back and a spectacular back yard location, which I did not get good images of, regrettably.

The newer addition which housed a great in-law suite. A huge snowstorm was just getting going when I got to this house, so it was a fairly fast tour.

A lovely two-story household room with beautiful millwork and a library on the second floor.

The property had some wonderful mural wallpapers which are showcased beautifully by the decor and the holiday decorations.&nbsp

I loved this show of colorful glassware – so quite!

A tiny corner detail.&nbsp

As you can see – lots of gorgeous concepts abound. I feel I only produced it to four of the 8 or so homes final year – it is a really superb huge tour. If you want to see my posts (three posts!) from two years ago, click here.

A lot more information on this year’s tour is right here. Have fun!
