Dutch style studio ByBrown has produced a windproof and waterproof dress for staying dry while cycling in the city.
Manufactured from a breathable membrane fabric, ByBrown’s Raindress is meant to be a much more fashionable way for female cyclists to safeguard themselves from negative climate.
“By marrying technology and fashion, I have experimented with to develop the perfect wet-climate design,” explained Bybrown creative director Melanie Brown, who describes the solution as the “world’s 1st designer moist-climate dress”.
The dress is developed to be worn as an outer layer above daily outfits. The shape of the tailored garment kinds a hooded poncho, which buttons up at the neck and extends down at the front to give safety for the legs.
