CMT architetti has refurbished the historic outdated villa found in the town of Monteriggioni Italy. It has been related with the work of Baldassare Peruzzi, painter, and architect from Siena, who worked in the area in between the fifteenth and sixteenth centuries. The restoration and renovation have been centered on the principal floor with the construction of a contemporary and practical apartment.

All the furnishings of the house, except for some recovered, had been custom-developed and produced by neighborhood artisans as distinctive and unrepeatable. The furnishings are created of recycled oak wood with black veins, raw iron sheet taken care of with all-natural wax white lacquered wood. The kitchen floor is polished black matt marble.
