Nicely hello! It’s that time once more! I’ve hosted this little shindig for six years now – crazy! It is time to collect collectively and show off your stunning Christmas trees and decor:

Thrifty Decor Chick Christmas party

But initial, mine! 🙂

We generally have four trees in our property – it sounds crazy but 1 I’ve never even decorated till this year:

And it was so easy and low cost – check it out here if you missed the bedroom tour earlier this week.

Another one is a real tree for the kiddo’s stuff – the fun 1 with colorful ornaments. I adore it. (Verify out last year’s party to see it much more of that a single.)

These two are minimal work and do not take up considerably storage space.

A few years back I picked up a flocked tree for our newly completed basement:

Goodness, I really like this tree. It was from WalMart and I’m nevertheless so content with it. It does not shed a ton of “snow” and you would believe it would. It is just so lovely.

It’s only three pieces and super easy to set up – I had it up and fluffed within 30 minutes. Each and every Christmas break we pretty much hibernate in the basement for two straight weeks so it is beautiful to have this down there:

Of our 3 faux trees I consider this a single looks the most true. It will look spectacular a single day when that electric fireplace behind it is in fact built into the wall. Been dreaming up that project for years now. 🙂

And our last one…I have a confession to make about our big tree. I get in touch with her Big Bertha. The Beast. Discomfort in my butt.

She’s enormous and I type of dread acquiring her out each and every year – is not that awful? When she’s up I’m so satisfied but the method wears me out. My husband goes along with pretty considerably all of my ideas for decor about the residence and rarely has a robust opinion about things…but this tree is his baby. He loves Christmas decor and loves. this. tree.

Final year he was out of town and my sister helped me get all the pieces down from the garage – I believed I would be able to make issues a bit less complicated by creating it 10 feet tall as an alternative of 12 feet (I didn’t put the bottom piece of the tree on so it was shorter).

Swear to God he noticed when he walked in the door – nobody would ever notice!! He did. So this year he pulled it down and we set up his infant in it is full glory.

Twelve feet of tree takes some time to decorate – and it’s a workout on the ladder. One more explanation this tree wipes me out? The cats Love IT. Our insane kitty actually climbs up about the inside of it and will poke his head out the leading. It drives me definitely crazy:

But last night I was taking photographs of it and I have to inform you…after pulling the cat out for the 15th time, my heart warmed and I just sat and appreciated Bertha:

That snowflake is created from the old Hoosier Dome leading for you locals by the way – we spent a lot of time there back in the day so I had to get one particular. 🙂

She is a beast but my goodness…she is spectacular:

It’s all worth it. 🙂 And I enjoy that my husband loves the tree so dang a lot:

Though I’d be fine if this guy lost a tiny of the enjoy:

Lowe&#39s fake tree, 12 feet

I’m not gonna lie – I got a little emotional standing there last evening, just taking a moment to get pleasure from it.

It is magnificent. 🙂 Here’s the view from our second level:

My “Fa la la” prints went back into the frames and they reflect the light beautifully:

And of course a little bokeh in
no way hurts:

bokeh Christmas tree Whew. It is a lot of work but following all is mentioned and done…so worth it. There is Practically nothing like sitting by a lit up tree with all the lights off, am I right? So grateful.

Now I can’t wait to see your tree and decor! Hyperlink up here – and if you’d like to hyperlink back to TDC it would be appreciated but it is not mandatory.

I’ll be back on Monday – I’m at the moment in freak out mode to get all the shopping done. ) Have a fantastic weekend my buddies!!
